F 4.0 1/30 -0.33 sec ISO 100 and shot on a tripod.
This is a Gunnera plant....grows to be HUGE...looks like something from Jurassic Park.

Alberta Aspens
Shot at f 8.0 1/125 ISO 100. I was visiting Edmonton this past week-end and could have stayed and photographed this grove of Aspen trees all day, but it was just a few shots on the fly. Sometimes I think I'm addicted to taking pictures....everything I see is a photograph....it's a curse sometimes.

Guitar Man
This is my son, a very talented musician. He is playing his guitar here and indulging his mother, whilst I took a bunch of shots.
I intentionally overexposed this shot, converted it to B&W in PS. I desaturated it some more and erased the peripheral details just leaving his face and hair.
Shot at f 4.0 1/30 ISO 1600 on a tripod using limited natural light. The high ISO adds some nice grainy effect, at least I think that's where it came from. I'm a Photo Shop ninny.

Skunk Cabbage
I have always loved Skunk Cabbage....it is so beautiful and sensual looking. Today Penny and I went out to Thetis to photograph Trillium's and Skunk Cabbage. We were hoping for the 'golden hour' light shining behind these lovely specimens but we took the pouring rain instead.
Shot on a tripod at f 4.0 1/60 ISO 100 on Auto WB.
